The poster

The official poster of the 1st edition of the Biarritz International Film Festival – Nouvelles Vagues was designed by Anna Apter (film director).

Inspired by the setting sun on the famous Grande Plage in Biarritz, we see the audience come together to marvel at a dazzling cinema screen, solar and powerful. Both literally and symbolically, it puts emerging talents and a young, diverse audience in the spotlight, an audience ready to live a collective experience and be transported to other horizons.
