Preview with the actor Nahuel Pérez Biscayart at the Cinema Le Royal in Biarritz
Tuesday December 12 sees the premiere of "La fille de son père", directed by Erwan Le Duc, produced by Domino Films and distributed by Pyramide.
The screening, scheduled for 8pm, is followed by a meeting with the film's lead actor, Nahuel Pérez Biscayart, moderated by Festival selection committee member Eduardo Carretié.
Synopsis of "La fille de son père" : Etienne is barely twenty when he falls in love with Valérie, and their daughter Rosa is born. The day Valérie abandons them, Etienne refuses to make a big deal of it. Etienne and Rosa build a happy life together. Sixteen years later, Rosa has to leave to study. When they have to part, the past resurfaces.
This film closed La Semaine de la Critique at the 2023 Festival de Cannes.
National release scheduled for December 20, 2023.

Nahuel Pérez Biscayart
Born in Buenos Aires in 1986, Nahuel Pérez Biscayart is an Argentine actor known for his roles in numerous Argentine, French and German films. Most notably, he played an Act Up activist in Robin Campillo's 120 BATTEMENTS PAR MINUTE, a role that earned him the Cesar for Meilleur Espoir Masculin in 2018.
His other feature films include Pablo Fendrik's LA SANGRE BROTA, Benoit Jacquot's AU FOND DES BOIS and Albert Dupontel's AU REVOIR LA HAUT.
