Survivance

A small town in the outskirts of Tokyo... A strong wind picks up as high school students are on their way to school. A typhoon is forecast, and rain begins to fall. Ignoring the order to evacuate the school, a few students decide to stay.

A cult filmmaker of the younger Japanese generation, Shinji Somai delivers a tender yet harsh portrait of adolescence.
