Aymeric accidentally reconnects with Florence, an ex-coworker, during a party in Saint-Claude in the Haut-Jura. She is six months pregnant and single. When Jim is born, Aymeric is there. They spend many happy years together, until the day when Christophe, Jim's natural father, turns up... This could be the start of a melodrama, but it's also the start of a fatherhood odyssey.
For their ninth feature, the Larrieu brothers explore the melodrama genre, incredibly close to the emotions of their characters, in a heartbreaking adaptation of Pierric Bailly's novel of the same name.
