Both born in 1971, Matthieu Delaporte and Alexandre de la Patellière are playwrights, screenwriters, directors and producers. Together, they directed Nobody from Nowhere starring Matthieu Kassovitz and The Best Is Yet to Come starring Patrick Bruel and Fabrice Lucchini. The Count of Monte Cristo is their third feature film.
