Gazteria

What can young people do? This is the question that the Gazteria category (“youth” in Basque) will submit to the festival’s special guests. The latter will answer by picking a film classic they particularly favor.

Students reach out to you

From Dakar to Seoul, from Paris to New York and Biarritz, five film schools will name a film from their own national film heritage telling an iconic youth story. These schools ask one of their students, invited by the festival, to introduce the film to the audience. This student also
joins the film school jury.

Gala evenings

Every night, people from the public will be invited to exclusive premiere screenings with all of the film’s cast and crew attending in a 1,400-seat auditorium.

The festival’s selection will be announced in early June.
