In a post-Covid context, where young people have become the main users of streaming platforms and short-form video content, this round table will look at the different ways and means deployed to get young people interested in cinemas.
The aim of the day is twofold: to talk about the distribution and exhibition professions through concrete examples, and to raise awareness about innovative practices that are helping to attract young audiences back to cinemas. The aim of these workshops is to arouse young people's interest in the various professions in the film industry, which sometimes seem remote due to their concentration in the Paris region.
At the same time, the day is a tool for professionals to better understand the expectations and desires of the general public, especially young people.
