The Biarritz International Film Festival - NOUVELLES VAGUES meets in Paris
On Friday October 6, the Biarritz Film Festival - NOUVELLES VAGUES, gathered its friends in Paris, at the Silencio des Prés, for the preview screening of Molly Manning Walker's "How to Have Sex", winner of Jury's prize and Audience prize 2023 in Biarritz, and the Un Certain Regard prize at the Festival de Cannes 2023.
Youth, the festival's emblematic subject, is at the heart of this film, which questions the place of desire and consent.
The screening was followed by a DJ Set by Corine.
Jérôme Pulis (President and Founder of the Festival), Sandrine Brauer (General Delegate) and Lili Hinstin (Programming Director) were pleased to welcome the members of the Festival's Board of Directors, including Ana Girardot, Rosalie Varda, Grégoire Chertok, Audrey Azoulay, Elisabeth Tanner, Guillaume Pepy, François-Xavier Menou, Benoit Ponsaillé, Carole Bienaimé-Besse, Claire Borotra, Anne-Florence Schmitt and Solène Leger, as well as programming committee members Emmanuel Mayemba and Eduardo Carretié.
They were delighted to welcome Laura Smet, Cécile Cassel, Vincent Perez and Karine Silla-Perez, Nine d'Urso, Kim Higelin, Monia Chokri, Luana Bajrami, Nadav Lapid, Naama Preis, Ingrid Donat, Bruno Chiche, Gabrielle Lazure, Julien Lombrail, Alice de Lencquesaing, Arabelle Reille-Mahdavi, César Domboy, Tanguy Rothschild, Léa Meunier, Paolo Luka-Noé, Pierre Gommé, Lucrèce Carmignac, Arnaud Frisch, Laurent Scordino (Ecole Boulle) and Elisa Rancher-Lucas.
