On October 4th, 2007 Arantza, the director of the film, was emprisoned. She remembers a few things about those days: endlessly walking around the prison exercise yard, swimming competitions, Rasha’s prison journey… After 918 nights locked up, Arantza is set free. From then, she recorded her memories and doubts throughout the documentary as fragmented memoirs.

Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola (EQZE) is an international center for thinking, research, experimental practice, and pedagogical innovation based on the past, present, and future of cinema. Its passionate and regenerative spirit is based on the fields of knowledge of three agents taking part in its conceptualization: the Basque Film Archive, San Sebastián Film Festival, and the Tabakalera cultural project. Thanks to its specific history, and film tradition, EQZE defines itself as the ‘school of the three tenses’ of cinema.
